Man pleads to lesser charge in road rage incident
An Iron River man pled guilty to a lesser charge stemming from an alleged road rage incident.
Donald Rymkos, 67, admitted to attempted fleeing and eluding in the fourth degree May 12. He was originally charged with fleeing in a eluding in the fourth degree. An additional charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed.
Rymkos was arrested by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office in February after deputies tried to stop his vehicle on U.S. 2 in Iron River after seeing signs of road rage.
Police say Rymkos did not stop, and the pursuit continued for thirteen miles.
He will be sentenced June 2.
