Weather Forecast 5/14-15

Rain stayed out of the Upper Peninsula Wednesday, but clouds covered the region.

Temperatures will become cooler for the rest of the week.  Overnight lows Wednesday fall into the low to mid-30’s with overcast skies and northwest winds 5-15 miles per hour.

Snow showers could develop by midday Thursday.  The central and eastern U. P. could see an inch of accumulation, while the western U.P. will stay mostly dry.  Winds pick up to 15-25 miles per hour and temperatures reach the high 30’s to mid-40’s.

Snow showers continue through Thursday night, with lows dropping to the upper 20’s to low 30’s.

More snow is in the forecast for Friday.
