Weekend Weather 5/2 – 5/5

Isolated areas of light rain passed through the region today as skies remained mostly cloudy. As we have seen for most of the week, rain chances continue on into Friday night. However, it will be light rain during the evening, and with the light rain, expect light winds around five miles per hour. Lows tonight will be a little cooler as temperatures drop to the lower and middle 30’s.

Saturday, the rain showers stick around passing in and out while winds increase to between 10 and 20 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy skies hold high temperatures down to the lower and middle 50s and look to cool us off to the upper 40s by about 5:00 p.m. By tomorrow night, slightly cooler air makes its way in to bring overnight low temps down to the lower 30s. With that being the case, lingering rain showers could be accompanied with a few flakes. Winds are expected to still be breezy, though, around 10 to 15 miles per hour from the northwest.

Showers leave early Sunday morning before gradual clearing arrives later in the day to finally bring an end to this dreary weather.
