Mqt. golfer going to Scotland w/GLIAC All-Stars
A Marquette golfer has been invited on a trip to Scotland as part of a GLIAC all-star team to compete against a Scottish all-star golf team.
Eric Johnson recently graduated from Wayne State.
He’s going on the trip to Scotland from August 12th through the 21st.
Johnson was the 2012–13 GLIAC Golfer of the Year, and he was recently named to the NCAA Division II All-Midwest Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Johnson posted a stroke average for the season of 74.58.
His low round of the year was a 68 in the first NCAA regional of the season, and his best tournament finish was second place in an event at Tiffin last September.
