Woman’s Body Found on Lake Michigan Shore
The body of a young woman who’d been missing for more than 3 months turns up in the water near the Mackinac Bridge.
2 nights ago, the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Department recovered the body on the Lake Michigan shoreline, west of the bridge.
Last night, they got a positive ID through dental records.
It was 24-year-old Brandi Hoffman of downstate Shepherd, which is a few miles from Mount Pleasant.
Hoffman had been reported missing on December 12th and was last seen in the Mackinac Straits area.
Police say there won’t be an autopsy and that the cause of her death is not suspicious.
