Walt Kyle Mile Returns
The Northern Michigan University hockey head coach and two time cancer survivor, Walt Kyle, along with members of the community will be hitting the streets this weekend to help raise money for some very special people.
The fifth annual Walt Kyle Mile will be happening this coming Saturday. The walk is to benefit the cancer patients and their families staying at the Beacon House. Just like previous years, this event continues to be a hit and gets great support from the community.
Registration begins at 8 am at the Barry Event Center and the walk will begin at 9 o’clock with Walt and his hockey team. The cost is $10.00 a person and $20.00 if you would like a shirt.
