Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 9/1-2

Heavier showers moved through the region this morning, before becoming scattered later during the afternoon. Clouds and rain look to decrease heading into the overnight, with less humid conditions taking shape. Lows will bottom out in the mid and upper-50s, with west winds blowing between 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Tuesday is expected to be more sunny and maybe even a little warmer, as we go back to school and work. There might be stray t’storm or two as well. High temps will reach the low to mid-70s, while winds come out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, anticipate a mostly cloudy sky but no rain. Lows will drop to the mid and upper-50s again, while winds continue at 5 to 10 miles per hour from the southwest. Wednesday may be the winner for best weather this week, as storms return by Thursday.
