Truck Vs. Train Crash in Gladstone
One Woman Is In Jail after crashing her Truck into the side of a Moving Train
Troopers from the Gladstone Post of the Michigan State Police responded to the scene on West 5 Road East of Rapid River early Saturday morning.
A 45 Year old Rapid River woman drove her pickup truck into the side of moving train as the train was crossing West 5 Road.
Severe damage was done to the truck. The train and its crew continued traveling West without realizing a collision had taken place.
Troopers are still trying to identify the train and the train’s Engineer.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
She was arrested for operating while intoxicated in is currently lodged in the Delta County Jail.
