Stolen Car Crashes into Escanaba House
Escanaba Public Safety is investigating an overnight incident that resulted in a vehicle crashing into a home in the 200 block of North 10th Street.
The incident happened at 1:02 am an incident. Police say a male subject has been charged with “fleeing and eluding, stolen motor vehicle.” The crash took place as police were pursuing the vehicle. The suspect was alone in the vehicle and had to be extricated with the jaws of life.
The investigation revealed that the car had been stolen. Escanaba Public Safety was assisted on scene by deputies from the Delta Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police.
