Road closure due to weather
MARQUETTE — The City of Marquette Public Works Department has announced that beginning immediately, Lakeshore Boulevard from Fair Avenue to Hawley Street will be closed to through traffic.
Nothing like a prolonged December rainstorm to stress the infrastructure a bit. Here's an image from Lakeshore Boulevard today, which is now closed between Wright and Hawley streets until further notice.

Pine Street from Fair to Lakehore and Wright Street from Presque Isle Avenue to Lakeshore will also be closed due to weather. An announcement will be released when the closures are lifted.
