Parade will close Houghton streets Friday
The City of Houghton is making sure residents and visitors make plans now to avoid frustration Friday when FinnFest activities will change traffic flow patterns.
Due to the Finn Fest/Bridge Fest Parade, the parking lanes on Shelden Avenue between Portage Street by the City Center and Pewabic Street will be closed Friday.
The Houghton Police Department is asking the community to be clear of this area by 6 p.m. on Friday, June 21st, so they can make this a safe area for people to enjoy the parade.
