No new court date for police escapee
There’s no word yet on when the Iron River man who escaped police custody in June will return to court.
Twenty-two-year-old Jordan Luckey ran away from a deputy after being taken from the Iron County Jail to NORTHSTAR Health System for medical treatment.
Police say he ran to Ice Lake and tried to swim away, then returned to shore and continued running.
Luckey is charged with escaping from jail through violence.
It’s one of 14 charges he’s facing from various arrests.
When Luckey does return to court, all 14 counts will be handled as part of the same case.
