More Details about Marquette Shooting

There is more information tonight about the Marquette shooting two weeks ago that killed a man and injured a woman.

22–year–old Tyler Wolf was charged with involuntary manslaughter Wednesday and will be formally arraigned in 25th Circuit Court tomorrow. The 15 year felony is in connection with the shooting death of 49 year old John Bradbury at an apartment on West Ridge Street.

23 year old Rayan Zimmerman was also injured in the incident that took place in the early morning hours September 21st. The Marquette City Police Department says physical evidence and interviews have determined that the shooting was not a premeditated act. The P-D t says it was a single discharge of a firearm that caused the death of Bradbury and serious injury to Zimmerman.

The ongoing criminal investigation could result in additional charges. A meth lab was also discovered at the apartment. The Marquette P-D was assisted in the investigation by the Michigan State Police, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, A-T-F and the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.
