Marquette Restaurant Week brings deals to diners

People looking to dine out are in luck this week in Marquette.

The Eastside Originals, a group of locally owned and operated restaurants, are participating in the third annual Marquette Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants are offering $10 lunch menus and $25 dinners through Saturday with a goal increasing each restaurant’s footprint in the community.

“The great thing is, you can go out to all of these wonderful restaurants and try something new that you haven’t, or something that you’ve had before, and get a really good deal,” Eastside Originals vice president Kim L’Huillier said. “It’s something new, and it’s a great way for people to get out and try something different.”

The week-long event is also giving an NMU graduate some exposure. Josh LeClair of LeClair Photography shot the promos for a number of participating restaurants, like Togo’s, to help spread the word while showcasing his unique talent.

“For lunch, you can bring a friend and only spend $10,” Togo’s general manager Be Embley-Stoll said. “You get two small subs, two combos, and for dinner, I don’t know where else you can feed a family of four for $25, but we’re offering four small Togo’s, four combos and also four Rice Krispie bars. So, we hope to see you this week.”

We’ll continue to highlight a different restaurant each day throughout the week.
