Make your own artificial tree

A Marquette-area artist and inventor is trying to teach people how to produce one of his creations on their own.

Earl Senchuk has been making artificial trees out of concrete for years.

He starts each tree with a small model made from metal wire.

At one time, an artificial petunia tree that he made was in place outside the MDOT Welcome Center in Harvey.

Earl’s trees even have an artificial watering system inside.

He believes the trees can be a potential source of some extra income while working from home.
