Head on Crash Leaves Four Injured in Marquette County
Several people were injured in a head crash in Marquette County tonight…
It happened just before seven this evening in Sands Township at M-553 and Kelly Johnson Memorial Drive.
Troopers from the Negaunee Post of the Michigan State Police say 33 Year Old Bridget Black Of Gwinn was Southbound on M-553, when she attempted to make a left turn onto Kelly Johnson Memorial Drive.
She pulled in front of the path of 52 year old Rhonda Bertucci of Ishpeming who was traveling Northbound on M-553.
Black and her male passenger were transported to Marquette General Hospital for treatment.
Bertucci’s four passengers refused medical treatment at the scene.
two of the occupants later sought treatment at Bell Memorial Hosptial.
Medi-Ride, Sands Township Fire and EMS, and Forsyth Township EMS assisted at the scene.
