One of the 2 people who robbed an elderly woman of her bingo winnings receives a year in jail.
24-year-old Kasey Morcom got credit for 105 days that she’s already served.
She’d pleaded guilty to larceny from a person as part of a plea agreement.
The charges come from an incident at Ishpeming’s Pioneer Bluff Apartments.
In October, Morcom and 25-year-old Jesse Mitchell mugged an 81-year-old woman who lived there.
They stole more than $1,000 that she’d won playing bingo that night.
Mitchell and Morcom fled to Florida, but they were picked up for suspicious behavior and extradited back to the U.P.
Mitchell was scheduled to go to trial 3 days ago, but he pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery Monday night.
His sentencing is scheduled for March 11th.
