Ishpeming wins Mid Pen Playoff game
CHANNING- The Ishpeming Blue Storm scored four runs in the second inning in route to a 9-5 win over Hancock in the quarterfinals of the Mid Pen Conference Tournament.
The win for Ishpeming advances the Blue Storm to the semifinals where they will face the Marquette Blues on Tuesday at 5 p.m. EST. Kingsford and Channing are set to play in the other semifinal on Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST.
The Mid Pen Conference Championship game is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. EST. All Mid Pen Conference Tournament games are played in Channing.
