American Eagle Flight to Sawyer Cancelled
The closure of Sawyer International Airport due to a bomb threat has now cancelled all flights into and out of the airport tonight.
Media relations staff with American Airlines reached us by phone to say that American Eagle’s one arrival at Sawyer tonight, scheduled for 9:50 pm, has now been cancelled.
The company says the flight will be rescheduled and passengers will arrive tomorrow morning.

This afternoon, Delta Air Lines officials told us all Delta flights involving Sawyer Airport would be cancelled for tonight.
