652nd Company Soldiers Return Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Army Reserve soldiers based in Marquette County will be coming home from Iraq.
The Army Reserve 652nd Engineer Company is mostly based in Wisconsin.
But it has a detachment in Harvey, and more than 30 soldiers from that detachment deployed last April.
The Army Reserve says they’re already back on American soil; they’re in Wisconsin at the moment.
They’re getting a State Police escort from the Wisconsin state line back to the Army Reserve Center in Harvey.
The motorcade should be making its way down Washington Street in Marquette at about 3pm.
The 652nd’s primary operational mission is to build bridges.
