Wolverine Electric Cooperative as entered a joint venture with W.e. Energies. Wolverine is investing $120-$140 million into the Presque Isle Power Plant.
The money will be used for building air quality control equipment, and Wolverine is also receiving from W.e. Energies about a one third stake in the power plant. The equipment should be built and operational in early 2016.
