Lions Sign Free Agent WR Robiskie
After losing to the Chicago Bears on Monday night, the Detroit Lions have been looking for another wide receiver.
They think they’ve found him in former Cleveland Brown Brian Robiskie.
The Lions signed him as a free agent earlier today.
Robiskie spent two and a half years with the Browns before being signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
But he never played in a game for them and was released last month.
Robiskie won what was essentially a three–man tryout over former Seattle Seahawk Deon Butler and Legedu Naanee, who was recently cut by the Miami Dolphins.
The Lions were looking for a wideout after Nate Burleson broke his right leg on Monday night.
The team ended his season today by placing him on injured reserve.
