Gladstone H.S. adds three new sports

Three new sports programs are coming to Gladstone High School and all three are starting this upcoming school year.

The Braves are adding the sports of baseball, swimming, and bowling. All three sports were approved by the school board by a vote of 5-0 in favor of the new programs. All three sports will be “self funded”, meaning the money for each of these sports programs will not come out of the district’s budget.

All three of the sports have been a club team or an American Legion in the case of baseball. Girls can participate in both bowling and swimming, keeping the school district in compliance with Title IX.
