One in custody after execution of search warrant, child recovered
ISPHEMING — One person is in custody following the execution of a search warrant.
On Wednesday, January 15th, officers from the Ishpeming Police Department entered 710 W Empire Street in Ishpeming, where they located a 30-year-old Ishpeming female and her 1-year-old child.
During the search of the residence, officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The officers then arrested the 30-year-old female for Possession of Methamphetamine, and she is now being lodged at the Marquette County Jail, pending arraignment.
The Ishpeming Police Department is also seeking Abuse/Endangerment charges against the suspect, through the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.
