GWINN –Looking for some live music and entertainment about an alien plan that eats people? Well, look no further.

The Gwinn High School Drama Club is putting on a production of “Little Shop of Horrors,” the amusing musical about an alien plant with an insatiable diet.

“It’s a great show,” said Kyle Hantz, director. “The kids are putting in a lot of effort. They’re doing wonderful, wonderful work, and it’s a little bit more intense than some stuff we have done before, so it’s a huge production for us.”

Although the cast and crew have a lot of fun during the process of the show, it’s also a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.

“They get a lot of experience with acting, with team building, with musical experience as well,” added Hantz. “There’s a lot of hard harmonies here that they have to learn, and a lot of intense choreography as well.”

The showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7, and Sunday at 2.
