One sent to hospital after two car accident in Iron Mountain
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain Fire Department and the Iron Mountain Police Department were dispatched to a two car Personal Injury Accident at the intersection of Carpenter Avenue and Woodward Avenue at 2:45pm on 03/19/19.
It was determined that a South bound SUV on Carpenter Avenue attempted to turn left onto Woodward Avenue. The turning SUV was stuck by a North bound passenger car that was also on Carpenter Ave.
The 43-year-old male driver of the passenger car was transported to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The 85-year-old male driver of the SUV was cited for “Failure to Yield Left Turn”.
The Iron Mountain Fire and Police Departments were assisted on scene by the Kingsford Public Safety Department.
