Trillium House holds ribbon cutting ceremony
MARQUETTE — After more than 5 years of dreaming, planning, and construction, the Trillium House had their Open House today.
This is for everyone who hasn’t been able to see the facility or know what the Trillium House is about yet. Something like The Trillium House has been a need in the U.P. for awhile.
“There are times when people are in the home and either their family support isn’t enough to allow them to stay home. In other instances, home isn’t an option for them. This will provide that niche that we’ve been waiting for.”
The Lake Superior Community Partnership also joined in with a ribbon cutting. July 9th is a tentative date for the opening of the Trillium House.
