Marquette men arraigned on charges following Fair Ave. meth bust

MARQUETTE — The two suspects arrested following a meth bust in Marquette on March 16th were arraigned in Marquette County District Court.

Thirty-seven year-old Robert James Nancarrow and 26 year-old Brodie John Smith, both of Marquette, were charged with one count of operating a meth lab. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety.

Both Nancarrow and Smith are scheduled to appear in court on for probable cause conferences on April 4th and again for preliminary examinations on April 10th.

Last Friday, the pair was arrested after UPSET detectives executed a search warrant on their residence on Fair Avenue in Marquette. During the search, detectives seized an overwhelming amount of meth components, finished meth product and two firearms at the residence.
