Officials investigating two-vehicle accident
POWELL TOWNSHIP — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Powell Township.
Around 9:55 A.M. on Wednesday, a vehicle pulled out onto County Road 550 from a private drive into the path of another vehicle. Joyce Moulds, 87, of Big Bay was driving a 2015 Buick SUV when she pulled out of her driveway into the path of a 1997 Ford Wagon driven by Michael Berry, 62, also of Big Bay. Berry tried to avoid the Mould’s vehicle but still collided with the SUV.
Both subjects were transported to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
