MARQUETTE — The City of Marquette is closing the 300 block of West Baraga Avenue Monday morning starting at 7 p.m. to replace sanitary sewer laterals.
In order for the work to be done, the road will be closed to through traffic between Fourth and Third Streets. The public is being urged to use extreme caution when traveling in this area.
The work will be done in sections in order to minimize parking disruptions along the street. Monday’s project is a prerequisite for milling and overlaying for the street.
The work is scheduled to take Monday to complete.
