Suspect arrested on multiple counts during traffic stop
IRON RIVER — An Iron River man was arrested on multiple charges, including possession of heroin and operating under the influence of drugs with an occupant less than 16 years of age.
The arrest occurred on Monday around 8:30 P.M. According to the Iron River Police Department, the 30-year old suspect was arrested during a traffic stop for offenses of possession of heroin, operating under the influence of drugs with an occupant less than 16 years of age, and driving with a suspended license-second offense.
The suspect is being lodged at the Iron County Jail. The Iron River Police Department was assisted on the scene by Troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron River Post.
