NMU’s Troy Loggins suspended one game by the WCHA
EDINA, Minn. – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Men’s League office today announced a one-game suspension for Northern Michigan sophomore forward Troy Loggins, effective for the Wildcats’ next NCAA Division I contest.
The suspension is a result of Loggins’ interference penalty, which came at the 12:12 mark of the first period in Northern Michigan’s game of Saturday, Dec. 4 at Alaska Anchorage. Upon review, Loggins made contact with the skater’s head in a manner that warranted the suspension.
Northern Michigan’s next scheduled game is Friday, Dec. 9 vs. Alabama Huntsville. Loggins would be eligible to return for the Wildcats’ Saturday, Dec. 10 contest against the Chargers.
