NMU’s Troy Loggins suspended one game by the WCHA

EDINA, Minn. Ė The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Menís League office today announced a one-game suspension for Northern Michigan sophomore forward Troy Loggins, effective for the Wildcatsí next NCAA Division I contest.

The suspension is a result of Logginsí interference penalty, which came at the 12:12 mark of the first period in Northern Michiganís game of Saturday, Dec. 4 at Alaska Anchorage. Upon review, Loggins made contact with the skaterís head in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Northern Michiganís next scheduled game is Friday, Dec. 9 vs. Alabama Huntsville. Loggins would be eligible to return for the Wildcatsí Saturday, Dec. 10 contest against the Chargers.
