Crash suspect sentenced under HYTA

MARQUETTE — An Ishpeming woman who allegedly drove her car into a cemetery fence while intoxicated over the summer was sentenced in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Ashlee Domire, 20, was sentenced under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act.

If she complies with the terms of her probation, no conviction will be entered in the case and records of the court’s disposition will be sealed.

Domire pleaded guilty to third degree fleeing and eluding a police officer and operating while intoxicated back in September.

The charges were a result of a high speed chase she led police on that ended after she drove her vehicle into a fence at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette on July 13.
