Fatal car versus motorcycle accident
BREITRUNG TOWNSHIP — A fatal traffic crash to report in Breitung Township today involving a car and a motorcycle.
At 12:15 p.m., a 64-year-old male from Pembine, Wisconsin was heading south on Highway 141 riding a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Meanwhile, a 39–year-old Norway resident failed to yield while attempting to cross the highway traveling west on Breitung cut–off road.
As a result, the motorcyclist hit the back of the Ford Expedition, unable to swerve out of its way.
After being transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, the motorcyclist died from his injuries.
The driver of the Expedition and his passengers were not injured.
