Breaking and Entering suspect pleads not guilty
HOUGHTON — A Houghton County man is facing four felonies from an incident at the end of March. ABC 10’s Rick Allen has the details.
A Breaking and Entering suspect who allegedly fled from police is now facing multiple felonies stemming from the incident.
33–year–old Patrick Shea of Calumet was arraigned on four charges including Second Degree Home Invasion, punishable by up to 15 years in prison; Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, a five year felony; Possession of the Controlled Substance—Tramadol, a two year felony; and Resisting, Obstructing and Assaulting a Police Officer, punishable by two years.
Shea pled Not Guilty to all charges.
Police say the suspect broke into a home on Bootjack Road in Torch Lake Township on March 31st and led police on a chase that ended when his vehicle became stuck in the snow.
Shea is scheduled to appear for a pretrial in about 30 days.
