FORSYTH TOWNSHIP — Local residents will have the opportunity to rid their homes of prescription drugs safely this month thanks to local police.

The Forsyth Township Police report that they are hosting a drug take back or drug drop off day on Saturday, April 30th from 10 am until 2 pm.

It gives people the opportunity to spring clean their medicine cabinet and safely rid their home of any old prescription medications, over the counter medications or prescriptions.

The police ask participants to please remove them from the bottles or blister packs and place them in a clear baggie. They will not accept any liquids, lotions, creams, inhalers or needles – only loose pills.
