Upper Peninsula Weekend Weather Forecast 10/16-19
Friday was much cooler across the area, as blustery winds and scattered rain/snow dominated the afternoon. Tonight, all the precipitation is expected to change over to snow, as temps race below the freezing mark. This could lead to minor accumulations of up to 2″ in Alger county, with other locations picking up a coating to a half-inch.
Weather Forecast:
Lows will bottom out in the mid and upper-20s, while northwest winds weaken around at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Saturday, rain and snow chances will hang around, along with the cold air. Highs will top off in the low to mid-40s, with northwest winds continuing at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night, any leftover precipitation should end off as a few flurries. Low temps will plummet between the low to mid-20s , while winds lighten. Sunday, clouds will decrease, while temps begin to climb from their unseasonably cool numbers. Have a great weekend and stay warm!
