Wildcat football to find balance for homecoming

MARQUETTE — The Wildcats aired it out last week in a big way, as wide receiver Marcus Tucker finished the game with 200 yards and three touchdowns. Head coach Chris Ostrowsky says expect more of the same with some balance.

“I think our offense is what it is. We’re a spread no–huddle offense that really strives for balance. And I think we want to be able to run the football and throw the football equally and successful as we possibly can, in regards to down and distance and where we are on the field, score, you know the whole thing,” Ostrowsky said.

It’s a special home game this week as it is homecoming and a chance to go above 500 on the season.

“I think this is a big one. This is a big week and we’re playing a pretty good football team. It’s a conference game. We get to play in front of our alumni base and our student base and community. Should be a great venue and we’re excited to put a great product on the field. My expectations are that we’re going to go out and be really, really good. Be a good football team and a product that people are going to celebrate and we’re going to win,” said Ostrowsky.

NMU will face off against Hillsdale and kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
