CHIPPEWA — Two suspects have been arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in Luce and Chippewa County after an investigation conducted by UPSET.

During the investigation detectives identified the two individuals purchasing components used to manufacture meth at several different businesses. After observing the suspects purchase pseudoephedrine, a component used to make meth, they were arrested by detectives from UPSET and troopers from the Michigan State Police Post in Sault Ste. Marie. They are lodged at the Chippewa County Jail. Their names will be released upon arraignment.
