One suspect for alleged armed robbery enters plea

MARQUETTE — One of the three suspects apprehended for alleged armed robbery last month entered a plea in Marquette County Circuit Court today.

18-year-old Nasir Jones pleaded guilty to one count of attempted armed robbery. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 24th. Jones was arrested on May 13th along with 22-year-old Aiseah Achesah and 21-year-old Stephon Akins in connection to an armed robbery on Fair Avenue in Marquette.

Achesah is scheduled to enter a plea on June 13th.
