Central Michigan to hold U.P. summer football camp
MOUNT PLEASANT — This week, many NFL squads are taking to the practice field for organized team activites. It’s a chance to get back in the swing of things, whether it’s strength training or just brushing up on the playbook. And this summer, U.P. high schoolers will have a chance to work on their skills, thanks to a “chippy” university downstate.
Central Michigan University will be holding a satellite football camp Tuesday June 9th at Kingsford High School. They camp is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and will cost $60 per person. Coaches from NMU, Michigan Tech and Finlandia will be present as well.
