MOUNT PLEASANT — This week, many NFL squads are taking to the practice field for organized team activites. It’s a chance to get back in the swing of things, whether it’s strength training or just brushing up on the playbook. And this summer, U.P. high schoolers will have a chance to work on their skills, thanks to a “chippy” university downstate.
Central Michigan University will be holding a satellite football camp Tuesday June 9th at Kingsford High School. They camp is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and will cost $60 per person. Coaches from NMU, Michigan Tech and Finlandia will be present as well. For more information or to register, head to their website here and click on one day camps.
