Case moves forward for southern U.P. drug suspect
MENOMINEE — A Menominee Township woman will return to court in March on drug charges.
Katelyn Rivard, 24, has a pretrial set for March 2nd. She is charged with, and has plead not guilty to, fleeing police and possession with intent to deliver heroin.
Rivard was a suspect in a drug investigation conducted by the Northeast Tri-County Drug Task Force.
She was arrested in November after driving away from an attempted traffic stop in Marinette, Wis. She fled into Michigan and was brought to a stop in Wilson thanks to combined efforts from the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office and Hannahville Police Department.
Drugs were recovered from her vehicle.
