Sentencing and pretrial for Marquette home invasion suspects

MARQUETTE — Arrested for the same incident, two Marquette home invasion suspects have different court dates for different reasons.

The first, Kyler Arrieta, 25, of Marquette, will be sentenced March 6th.

He plead guilty to armed robbery.

The second, Johnathan Roy, 25, also of Marquette, has a pretrial set for February 6th where he could enter a plea himself.

As it stands he’s currently plead not guilty to several charges including home invasion, torture and felony firearms. Arrieta faced similar charges prior to his guilty plea.

Arrieta and Roy were arrested last July after the Marquette City Police responded to a home invasion within the city. Officers were given a description of the suspects and their vehicle and located the pair by the Preserve at Orianna Ridge.
