Carriere lifts Redmen with OT winner
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Marquette junior forward Tanner Carriere scored the game winner 2:06 into overtime, giving the Redmen the 2-1 victory over Calumet. Carriere’s cross-ice pass went off a Calumet defenders’ skate and into the net. Luke Schwemin had the other goal for Marquette in the second period. Rory Anderson scored the lone goal for Calumet on a breakaway during a Marquette powerplay.
