Monday’s prep & college basketball recap
UPPER PENINSULA – It was a basketball filled day to start the work week. Both college basketball teams from Wayne State came to Marquette and defeated the Wildcats, 69-57 in the women’s game and 67-43 in the men’s game. In girls high school basketball, Houghton, Norway, and Munising all picked up wins. A number of boys basketball teams- North Central, Forest Park, Bark River-Harris, and Republic Michigamme all won.
