Weather 6/2-6/3
After a warm weekend, showers and storms entered to cool the Upper Peninsula. There is still a high amount of humidity in the air, which will things feel a little muggy heading into the night.
Monday’s lows drop to the low and mid-50’s with west winds at 5-15 mph. Scattered showers and light rain will continue for the remainder of the night.
Tuesday looks to have fewer showers as the system departs, but the major difference during the day will be the winds as they howl out of the northwest at 15-25 miles per hour. Highs on Tuesday are expected to reach the upper 60’s and lower 70’s.
Tuesday night brings a much more comfortable air mass with temperatures bottoming out in the mid to upper 40’s as drier air moves in.
Rain chances disappear completely for Wednesday, as temperatures are expected only to top off in the 60’s.
