Rodgers to return for Packers
The Green Bay Packers will have the services of their franchise quarterback when they play for the NFC North Division on Sunday. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy announced at his press conference on Thursday that Aaron Rodgers will suit up for the green and gold against Chicago.
Rodgers has missed the Packers last seven games recovering from a collarbone injury. He suffered that injury at home against the Bears on Nov. 4. Seneca Wallace, Scott Tolzien, and Matt Flynn have all played at quarterback for the Packers since Rodgers’ injury.
The Packers (7-7-1) and Bears (8-7) will play for the NFC North Division title. The winner will host a playoff game next week. Chicago defeated Green Bay 27-20 in their previous meeting this season.
