Tough test awaits NMU men’s hoops
The Northern Michigan University Men’s Basketball team is off to a good start this season with a 2-1 record. Beginning on Thursday, Nov. 21, the Wildcats will play the first of two tough home games against Southwest Minnesota State and Lewis.
Wildcats head coach Bill Sall said that his team will have their hands full against both the Broncos and the Flyers.
“This is big boy basketball now,” said Sall. “The two teams we play this week are very good. We have to have the ability to really to make that concerted effort on every play on every possession to play at the intensity level that we need to. That’s the one thing I haven’t really seen quite yet. Spurts of it, but not consistency.”
Tip–off Thursday night between the ‘Cats and Broncos is set for 7:30 p.m. NMU and Lewis will play at 3pm on Sunday.
